Every department of the College conducts periodic test papers and two internal examinations in each semester. Progress report of each student will be intimated to the parent groups. Class PTA meetings are also conducted by the concerned class teacher to establish a rapport between the parents, teachers and students.

The major objective of the tutorial system is to provide mentoring to the students. All the class teachers are the mentors. The students are divided into groups and are placed under group tutors. The system is further reinforced by conducting class-PTA.

This system locates the slow learners to provide special coaching.  It identifies those students who lag behind others in learning. It could help struggling students to unveil their basic skills. This extra support helps them to catch up with their peers. The advanced learners are given nurturing to further uplift of their talents.

Student union election is held every year to select the Chairperson, Vice chairperson, General Secretary, UUC, Arts Club Secretary, Magazine Editor, Lady Representative etc.

The Students Union is elected on the basis of the Parliamentary Mode of Election as prescribed in University Regulations. Union members help to instill leadership qualities, democratic principles, rights and duties of citizenship and organizational skills among the students. Lady representation is mandatory in certain posts. There shall be a Staff Advisor to the College Union elected from the College Council.

The Cell is constituted under the Chairmanship of the Principal and Vice Principal as the convener. The main aim of the Cell is to protect the lady students against any kind of sexual harassment. No incident of sexual harassment has so far been reported in the college.

It is the supreme body of the institution. All decisions on internal matters such as disciplinary action, conduct of enquiry, suspension and dismissal & withdrawal etc. are taken by the Council. In this college the council is constituted and headed by Principal and all HODs of three batches of Commerce, Management Studies, Language departments and two nominated members.  Shamnas S is the secretary & Elizabeth Ligia Fernandez is the assistant secretary of Staff Council.

The council is a significant body connected with the functioning of the College Library. All decisions related to the Library are discussed and finalized by the Council.

MG University has introduced a certificate course in organic farming under MOOC. Registration of students of 2020, 2021 and 2022 batches of B Com Tax, CA, TT, and BBA are over.  They have attended the examination and submitted their Projects and conducted viva voce. Their marks were uploaded to the university. The final examination is pending.

Add on Program on Digital Marketing was conducted for the final year students of all batches by ASBM (Albedo School of Learning Development) and successfully completed 30 hours learning hours and conducted examination in February 2025 and released the certificates.

Every year study tours are conducted for all final year students on national basis. Apart from those industrial visits (IVs) and internship programs are held as part of completion of Projects.

By conducting Sports activities we achieve physical and mental relaxation to students & staff.  The committee is very active to conduct Indoor & out door competitions and to select the Teams to participate inter collegiate, district and state level tournaments and also to conduct the annual sports day of the college.

Keeping the health & hygiene of all staff & students is the prime motto of the Club. Yoga training classes are periodically given .The committee proposes to start fitness centre & Gymnasium. Immediate appointment of a Physical Director either part-time or full time is the need of the hour.
