Welcome to the Library of MES College Kochi

Established since the inception of the college in 2017. The library is located in the main building. The Library Consists of reading area with general reference section, circulation section, periodical section and Stack. The reading area accommodates 50 seats with 3 big tables.

The Library is automated using “KOHA” software having functions like acquisition, circulation, cataloguing etc. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables the members for easy search and locates books available in the library. All books are bar-coded. At present there are 4000 plus books, 20 plus journals & magazines in the library. The books are classified according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) System. Internet facilities are available to staff and students. All Library facilities and services are free to all Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff. Open access system in the library allows the members to access books in the shelves directly. Members shall not damage books. Writing, tearing, marking in the books etc. are strictly prohibited and punishable.
